Pupil Premium Information

Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium funding is targeted funding for specific groups of children in order that all children make maximum progress and narrow the attainment gap.  Pupil Premium funding is available for all children known to be eligible for free school meals (FSM) either currently or within the last 6 years (Ever 6), children from service families (SC), and for those who are looked after (LAC). Pupil Premium funding information and application forms are given to all parents to complete each year.

Once a family is deemed no longer eligible for Pupil Premium funding the children continue to receive funding for a further 6 years (Ever 6).  Once a family leaves the services the children continue to receive Services Premium funding for a further 4 years (Ever 4).

The funding is used to provide additional support for families to narrow the attainment gap that exists between children from disadvantaged and more affluent backgrounds. The school decides how best to use this funding, taking into account the children as individuals and any specific gaps or needs.

Barriers to Learning
Haddenham Community Infant School has consulted with a range of stakeholders to determine the areas of need and barriers to learning.  Key barriers include; Speech and Language needs, Attachment needs, English needs, Maths needs, Social needs and Gross/Fine motor control needs.  Both the demographic and individual context has been considered when considering how to address these issues.
