Haddenham Area School Sports Partnership
In April 2013, the Government announced new funding of £150 million for physical education (PE) and sport. This funding should be used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision.
In Haddenham, our three schools are working together to utilise this money in the most effective way by providing high quality sports coaching to all our pupils.
We have produced a programme of sports that will provide broad and balanced coverage for all year groups and enable children to acquire a high level of skill according to their ability.
The coaching will also be used as professional development for teachers to enhance their teaching in PE for future lessons.
The funding will also be used for the organisation of festivals and competitions between the schools.
Individual schools will also use funding to purchase equipment to enhance their PE provision.
